This research group has grown out of the Tavistock Clinic’s Adolescent Department Research Workshop. At its inception in 1998, this was a place for thinking about and supporting the development of research projects within the Adolescent Department. Since then the workshop has grown to encompass research projects and support for research minded and research active staff. The group will aim to continue these developments and provide a container for the Adolescent Department’s research, scholarly and scientific work.
The group is informed by the aims of the Adolescent Department’s therapeutic clinical work and represents the range of professional disciplines in the Department- psychologists, psychiatrists, child psychotherapists, social workers, nurses. It includes staff, trainees and students.
